Our youth are the future!

בס”ד

Crown Heights has an estimated 2000 teens between the ages of 13-17.

Any parent who has a child in that age group would do anything to ensure that their child is in the right atmosphere and involved in the right things.

The Rebbe Rashab taught that just as it is an obligation for every Jew to put on Tefillin, it is equally an obligation to think about the education of children for 30 minutes every day. The Rebbe taught that the reason the Rebbe Rashab uses Tefillin as an example, is because this obligation is not reserved for parents, but rather an obligation that every Jew shares.

Teens want to have friends and fit in, they want to have a good time and enjoy themselves as they figure out the world they’re growing into.

Why do we wonder in surprise about our children’s choices - where to hang out and what to do in their free time - without providing a better alternative?

If 770 had room for our teens to meet, learn together, farbreng together and even just to shmuz, we could bring the cure to the crisis of teens finding comfort in the wrong places.

What are we waiting for? Every day that goes by without an expanded 770 is another day of ignoring the 2000 crying souls of our youth who don’t feel wanted and welcome in the Rebbe’s court.

Let us act now without delay and invite our teens to a 770 where there is room for them and they can feel comfortable.

2000 teens are waiting for you to help make the expansion happen!

Take action now and join us in promoting and encouraging the expansion of 770.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you can do more in order to expand 770.

Talk to your friends and family, talk to people who you believe can do something about expansion. Voice your support of expansion through purchasing a yard sign, or writing an article, or posting a video. Visit Expand770.com and make a donation, sign the petition, learn and teach the kuntres beis rabbeinu shebibovel, or join our other initiatives. But above all, make it your personal business to fulfill the Rebbe’s ratzon to expand 770.

With love,

Levik Jacobson
